  4. Licensed Users of v3.0, 4.0, 5.0 & 6.0

  6. If you are a licensed user of v3.0, V4.0, 5.0 or 
  7. 6.0 and have downloaded or purchased the 7.0, YOU 
  8. MUST have the LockDown 2000 activation code or 
  9. the user name, password and unlock code that you 
  10. received with your old version.
  11.  
  12. MAKE SURE TO LAUNCH THE PROGRAM, WHEN 
  13. ASKED ON THE FINISH SCREEN OF THIS 
  14. SETUP PROGRAM. 
  15.  
  16. When you launch the new program, LockDown will 
  17. automatically uninstall the old programs for you.
  18.  
  19. NEXT, MAKE SURE YOU ARE ONLINE and click on the 
  20. unlock icon on your lockdown 2000 menu bar. Then 
  21. type in the unlock code AND your user name and 
  22. password.  (if there is no unlock icon your 
  23. version is already licensed)

  27. ------------------------------------------------
  28. If you are using any 2.x versions, You must first 
  29. remove your current version from your systray as 
  30. follows, 
  31.  
  32. 1.Right Click on the lock in your systray 
  33. 2.Choose the Exit option (this will remove the lock) 
  34. 3.Verify that the lock is removed 
  35.  
  36. After the yellow lock is no longer in your systray: 
  37.  
  38. 4.Go To Your Control Panel 
  39. 5.Select The Add/Remove Programs Icon 
  40. 6.Choose LockDown 2000 From the Program List 
  41. 7.Click on Add/Remove and follow the prompts 
  42.  
  43. Now you are ready to install the new v7.0
  44.  
  45. Double-click on the program file that you downloaded, 
  46. and follow the installation defaults. 
  47.  
  48. 1. Double-click on the lock in the lower system tray.
  49. 2. Click the unlock icon on the LockDown 2000 menu bar.
  50. 3. Email us:

  52. a) The new product serial number 
  53. b) The original unlock code or serial number
  54. c) The name that you purchased under
  55.  
  56. Email to support@lockdown2000.com and we will email you 
  57. a new unlock code.
